Teresa was appointed SATA Group Chief Executive Officer in April 2023, prior to this was, since January 2020 SATA Group Executive Board Member and Chief Financial Officer. Prior to this Teresa was Director for Promotion of Competition in the Mobility and Transport Authority. Before joining this Authority, Teresa held various roles as Director of M&A (leading several M&A projects), Finance and Business Development in the biggest Telecom Company in Portugal (PT – Portugal Telecom), being also responsible for all the business development in Africa, Asia, and Brazil. Teresa has over nineteen years’ experience in financial services. Prior to joining PT, she worked as strategic business consultant in Cap Gemini Ernest & Young. Teresa has a Graduate degree in Finance from Nova School of Business and Economics, a Graduate degree in Competition and Regulation from the University of Lisbon School of Law and a Bachelor’s degree from Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics.
