Angela is an experienced Corporate Tax partner and leads BDO Ireland’s Financial Services Tax team.

Angela is a corporate tax partner with BDO Ireland, and leads BDO Ireland’s Financial Services Tax team. She is a Chartered Tax Advisor with 15 years of experience advising clients in corporate tax matters.

As Head of Financial Services Tax, Angela leads a team of tax professionals advising clients in all areas of financial services, including aviation, private equity, asset management, debt securitisation, insurance and reinsurance, and financing companies.

Angela has extensive experience advising aviation clients on domestic and international tax matters, including the establishment and management of Irish-based aircraft leasing platforms, aircraft acquisition and disposal, and management of ongoing tax compliance obligations.

Angela holds a BA(Hons) in Accounting and Human Resource Management from the National College of Ireland. She has lectured for the Institute of Bankers in Ireland on the taxation of funds and the Smurfit Business School in their masters programme.

Angela is a regular presenter and contributor on topical tax issues and leads BDO Ireland’s Tax Library.
