Patrick Edmond, who was formerly Group Strategy Director at Shannon Group plc, operator of Shannon Airport in Ireland, and concurrently Managing Director of Shannon's International Aviation Services Centre industry cluster, one of the leading aerospace clusters in Europe. Patrick previously headed up Commercial and Network functions at three airlines, and as a "recovering network planner", he has extensive first-hand experience of what it takes to design airline networks for efficiency, profitability and sustainability. Along with skills gained in aircraft leasing and strategic consulting, Patrick brings over two decades of strategy and commercial development know-how. He has worked and lived in Ireland, the UK, France, Germany and the US, and speaks French, German and Irish. Patrick is also an experienced writer, frequent industry commentator in print and broadcast media, and regular conference presenter and moderator.
